Welcome to Whickham Year 6, Parents & Carers
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you and your family to Whickham School.
We will be providing you with a range of information over the coming weeks that will ensure that you are both excited about the opportunities that lie ahead at Whickham and confident in making the move from primary to secondary school. We aim to ensure transition activities and the Year 7 experience both support wellbeing and good academic progress and success.
We believe that strong and positive relationships with parents and carers are critical in ensuring a partnership is built that supports the success of each student. We will be working with Year 6 over the next few months to ensure you are ready to join us at Whickham and are able to make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead. I want you to be happy, safe and successful during your time at Whickham and together I know we can ensure this happens.
