Whickham School is a safe and happy community where pupils can learn and develop as they grow into successful young adults. Everyone is valued for their unique contribution to the life of the school. We celebrate diversity and recognise the special gifts, talents and needs of each individual as we all strive to be the best we can be. We pride ourselves in being a true community resource, at the heart of the community we serve and for the benefit of the whole community. We work hard to maintain our excellent links with parents and the community, and we are constantly looking for ways of enhancing these. We have strong relationships with employers, universities, pastoral/support agencies and our partner primary schools, and work with a number of outside organisations on partnership projects and our Alumni programme aims to build a network of past pupils, and former staff members.
